Illumination promoting biomass production in wastewater treatment for Rubrivivax gelatinosus

In order to improve the reuse degree of Rubrivivax gelatinosus (R. gelatinosus) resource in soybean producing wastewater (SPW) treatment, impacts diverse illumination strength on R. biomass and organic contaminant abatement were discussed. It was reported that with best (6,000 lux), production (3,800 mg/L) increased by sixty percent dark group. COD removal protein rate got 85 80%. Influence growth divided into three aspects, including limitation (0−5,000 saturation (5,000−7,000 inhibition (8,000 lux or higher). Meanwhile, at 6,000 lux, bacteriochlorophyll carotenoids contents, ATP 200, 43.9% severally. Appropriate improved increasing generation photosynthesis. Augment energy provoked treatment. Nevertheless, low high un-advantage for due deficiency restrian. Moreover, shortened treatment time from 96 h 48 h.
